My I-Story
I sat down at my first facial with Joyce Adejube when I was 18 years old. I loved how my skin looked and felt and almost instantly I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world. At that time Joyce shared the Mary Kay opportunity with me, but at 18 I wasn't ready to have my own business so I was her customer through my mom for many years. It wasn't till 2004 that I made the decision to become a beauty consultant. I started out doing well and promoted myself to Red Jacket in less than 2 months. I really enjoyed sharing Mary Kay with others, but life got in the way and I had to go back to school and raise my child as a single mom. However, I still managed to remain a personal use consultant for many years.

During these years of being a personal use consultant I tried many different opportunities ... all of them were good opportunities and many of them would compliment the Mary Kay business and marketing plan and adopt it into their business. So the more I would hear this, the more I thought to myself "...I'm with the best direct sales company there is so why am I trying to do something else..." I guess you can say a light bulb went off in my head and I realized that I'm part of something wonderful.
In May of 2014 I decided to reinvent my Mary Kay business!! With the help of technology advancements, a majority of my business is online and I'm able to reach more customers than ever before. Mary Kay corporate provides us with a state of the art website, back office and awesome business tools to help each of us be successful with our business.
